Front Mission 1st Remake Game Review

World wars are won with massive war machines, referred to as Wanzers from 2090. Huffman Island, the only location where there is Oceania Cooperative Union (O.C.U.) and the Unified Continental States (U.C.S.) The boundary of the land between The United Continental States (U.C.S.) and Canada is an area that is in extreme conflict.

An O.C.U. A reconnaissance platoon under Captain Royd Clive is given the task of examining a U.C.S. munitions plant. The U.C.S. ambush them. They are ambushed by U.C.S. Zanzers. This causes a chain of events which plunges all of the island into conflict. Royd’s fiancee, Lieutenant Karen Meure, goes missing in action.

Royd has been discharged from his military service . He sets out to find out what happened to Karen. He is led closer in the direction of the plot behind the incident as well as the people who were behind it.

With an array of characters to get to know, its mature story with non-Manichean heroes, Front Mission is one of the best examples of the strategic Japanese RPG style, and is now accessible worldwide.
